You really can't talk to "AI" advocates anymore. They've lost the plot entirely and live in a separate reality.

When you present them with actual research that supports your criticisms they literally go "LALALA, CAN'T HEAR YOU", or just start insulting you.

It's like talking to a flat-earther.

@aesthr im pretty sure duckduckgo uses more elecricity to do a search than my gpu does when i ask my locally running model something about lisp syntax

*dont assume im 110% pro-ai and dont think critically abt it. i dont use anything that runs on a datacenter bc i dont like the water issue
