Bought a third drive for my Synology so I can keep ripping Blu-rays. Same make and model as the other two, but ended up having to open a return because this one makes a horrid high pitched buzz like a piezoelectric speaker when idling.

Found a 1-star review with a video on Amazon US with the exact same sound, which apparently Seagate consider “normal”. Good thing Amazon is quite lax about returns, no way could I deal with this.
