In other photos of the partial phases of this morning's #LunarEclipse, I caught the bluish 'stripe' between the parts of the disc fully illuminated by sunlight and mostly in the umbral shadow (lower right). The color results from sunlight Rayleigh-scattered by ozone in the Earth's stratosphere.
