I'm desperate for a new MacBook, my M1 Pro one is at 71% battery health and takes an age to compile Personal Best. But I sort of want to wait for the M6 redesign.
I might try the Air for a while, I'm sure it'll still be a huge upgrade over what I have. Any devs here using the Air for work? If so, how is it?
@shaundon I have been using M1 Air for my app and honestly its working quite well. I used to have m1 pro but hated carrying that heavy thing around and couple years back switched to M1 Air and its just everything I would need for. Only thing that would make me upgrade to a newer air is if it would have the pro's screen which it doesn't yet. And I love the wedge shaped design.
So yes, you would be more than fine with any of the recent Air. And I am never going back to Pro again.
