21 episodes of #UnveilJadewind watched - which for me is a fast pace.
I'm really enjoying it. It might not be a masterpiece, but I like it. The cases are good, pacing os good, characters are interesting and not annoying. Lots of complex female characters (a lot of whom unfortnuately die).
I've heard people complain that there's no chemistry between the main couple.
But I'm fine with them being mostly friends, and a pretty good team.
Of course there probably will be some forced romance later on, since we can't have no romance, can we, especially when the main character is a woman.
I'm not a fan of revenge dramas.
It seems that by now, the revenge part has more room. I hope we'll still have some detective cases though and it's not the complete rest (6 episodes) just this.
Finished #UnveilJadewind
I thought it was pretty good.
I agree that the romance wasn't very strong. Even when I support different kinds of romances, I think it could have been done a little bit better. But it wasn't that much of a downside, in my opinion.
The last revenge scene dragged on - only part of the drama that I skipped.
There was one big loose threat at the end remaining - not sure whether that was for a possible second season (though the actress announced she's getting too old for the action) or done in the editing for some reason.
I really liked how they showed how everyone else ended up, even though I had a hard time remembering half of them. 😅
