Lumi .𖥔 ݁ ˖I loved the Housemaid movie and I enjoyed book 1. Book 2 was a bit annoying at times, but book 3 is absolutely atrocious. I'm only trudging through it because I want to know what the damn mystery is. But I'm 53% in and it doesn't feel particularly mysterious.

It's a cheap soap opera with the most stereotypical US American cishet couple, with many of the awful tropes and gender essentialism it entails. At least the husband is not a misogynist, I guess.
