AeschTunes Artist Spotlight - 2/12

Hungry Lucy was a dark wave and trip duo made up of Warren Harrison and Christa Belle. The name Hungry Lucy comes from a ghost of a woman named Lucy Ryan who had died of scarlet fever while her boyfriend was away at war.

A psychic claimed to have channeled this ghost and reported that she constantly complained of being hungry.

We first heard of the act in 2003 when we purchased The State of Synthpop 2003 compilation that was released by the A Different Drum record label.
