Well, as degoogled as using an OS maintained by Google gets
@alexia @GrapheneOS yeah, ofc the end goal is using a proper linux phone, to get maximal freedom and security

but having a degoogled android device is a step along the way. though i have been stuck at that step since around 2014
@lumi @GrapheneOS @alexia It's unfortunate that a lot of the mobile linux stack just genuinely just fucking sucks, and a lot of the desktop linux stack isnt suited to the uses that most phones are given, which is very heavily in digital wallet territory

if it weren't for that, i would
very happily rely on a linux phone, but i feel like any options available dont currently respect the threat model of mobile devices enough, and their compatibility and stability is incredibly shaky
