€4.99/month = 1TB storage + 1TB egress included.
That’s… kind of wild.

@kyrylo yeah, for a while now. I’m sill hearing mixed experiences though, especially around issues and hick-ups availability and latency. So I would be slightly hesitant to build a CDN with it for example :)

@kyrylo To be clear, I don't think it’s unusable in general. But people got so used to the sheer endless scaling and very robust baseline performance of AWS S3 that they expect all those properties everywhere. And IMO they are not quite there yet.

However Cloudflare R2 has a strong perk: local uploads via the user’s nearest Cloudflare edge node

Seems like Hetzner can't offer that yet.
