RIP. absolute legend. his approach was interesting. i remember reading in TapeOp or somewhere about how they treated samples and would play Juno sub bass under all the bass lines. he was unconventional when it came to producing and mixing. there’s a few panels and talks on youtube featuring him and he’s a bit abstract.
