#The100DayProject
I don't see myself doing any one creative thing for 100 days, as many do. However, I believe I can coax myself to do some small creative thing for 100 days. On Days 1 and 2, I worked on my #sewing.
Both of these shirts are the #DawsonTop by Helen's Closet, and I recently completed a third, also in a shade of green (olive, in that case). All of these have been in my queue for over 2 years. I bought fabrics that I loved, but was too afraid to cut into and construct at the time.
Now that I've had more experience with sewing knits, it's less terrifying. This light green shirt was only missing one side/sleeve seam, and the hemming for the sleeves and the shirt.
Both shirts were completed today after coworking sessions yesterday and today.
I'm happy to have these off of my project shelves and into my closet!

The same creative thing for 100 days in a row? Yar har....

@cavyherd
Yeah, I see that several folks are doing that, but that's absolutely not the way that I'm wired!

@EllenInEdmonton

Not for nuthin', but I love those colors, too!

@cavyherd Thanks! I’m thrilled with the colours and the third shirt is even prettier and softer! I really hope I don’t stain the front too badly right away.

@EllenInEdmonton

Heh. You should a add a suble little stain deliberately as a banishing spell. 😉

@cavyherd
All of the wovens that I sew with are patterned, so staining will generally blend in pretty well. I'll try to wear an apron for most at-home eating until it feels like I've had these shirts for a while.

@EllenInEdmonton

One of my hobbies is painting, so I gave up worrying about staining my clothes a long time ago.

The total extent of the effort I'll go to is wear the (comparatively) "good" clothes (no •conspicuous• (to me) stains, no actual holes) to work. If I'm on my own, it's old raggedy stained stuff all the way.

I will put in some effort on the rare occasions I wear the really good stuff, but that's extremely rare.

I am •very• lazy. Esp where clothes are concerned.
