New track drops this Friday πŸ‘Ύ Funky, groove-driven chiptune inspired by the 8-bit and 16-bit era. If you liked "Pixel Crush" you’re going to love this. See you Friday! πŸ™Œ
@lukhash yoo this is your nes? what a cool shell
@aetios it is :) also fitted with RGB led and stereo audio mod for the studio (1/4 inch jack output at the back).
@lukhash how much of your tracks are hardware vs VST or software trackers btw?
@aetios I tend to use a lot of plugins nowadays, especially chipsynth ones from Plogue, as they sound super close if not unrecognisable to the og hardware, also inSIDious sounds very decent, but even then I still like adding a layer of hardware here and there. I.e. the chord samples on new track are recorded using sampler on an Amiga before going into daw. It really depends from track but I still like to use both, although some of modern plugins sound pretty much spot on.
@lukhash I can imagine working with VST's really helps streamline the process since the aging hardware can be pretty moody at times!! Thx for elaborating, looking forward to your new tracks
