My Grandfather fought in WW2 and was at the liberation of Bergen‑Belsen. These and other atrocities were key drivers behind the post WW2 surge in international legal instruments; accelerating and deepening rules governing war, human rights, and individual accountability.

Isn’t it an absolute disgrace and deeply troubling that some prominent elected representatives and other grifters feel it is politically expedient to suggest jettisoning these enduring principles?
