We shot down three of our own F-15s. Sure sign of a well planned military operation run by professionals.

*edit — Kuwait shot them down. So “friendly-ish” fire.

More British soldiers were killed in the first Gulf War by American forces than by the enemy. British tanks, lorries and other vehicles had to be specially marked to save them from friendly attacks.

@uc pretty sure we have smoked friendlies in nearly every major gulf action in my lifetime. Three F-15s at once is a feat though. Heck, we shot up our last battleship during Desert Storm.
