@aroundthehills Sound advice. Maybe tomorrow. Just having a short walk today 🙂

@CloudsGoBy I did a total of 32 km which is the longest I've done on the bike for a couple of months. My Garmin says I am overreaching. 😄

I feel good for doing it, both mentally and physically.

@aroundthehills I’m itching to get back on the bike - haven’t even been to the shop recently. The weather turned out much nicer than expected but I had a restless night and haven’t felt particularly with it today. I’m being careful with the 10k training but it’s pretty knackering TBH and I’ll be glad when it’s over. Not long now 😯

@CloudsGoBy When I compare my Garmin stats now with 12 months ago, when I was training for the Liverpool Half Marathon, I'm less fit by all measures. However, I'm not sure that that type of fitness was healthy! The race was looming over everything I did for months. You probably feel the same about your 10k.

I hope the race goes well and you can soon get back to normal. 🙂

@aroundthehills Looming over everything is exactly it! I’m getting a bit fed up with the effort - if it wasn’t for the Garmin app telling me I’m going slightly further and faster each time I’d lose the will. I want to keep on with some exercise but I’d like to relax too! And I’m still mightily impressed by your half marathon - even more so in fact 🏆
