programming.dev has been defederated
Couple of quick questions:
I think this was the last post that went through before it was. You can see your reply doesnt appear on their side
The transphobic thing was something that happened maybe a year ago or a few years ago with Snowe and the harry potter game. Things got patched up though and people here arent transphobic
For the spam wave theyre talking about here weve been banning account as they pop up but if you see anything report it
Dang. I’d always used programming.dev as a verification instance to ensure my posts were migrating across the fed. It’s a shame to lose them as a resource.
( ( looks at modlog… ) )
Well ok then. No regrets here.
Go to the instance (programming.dev) and at bottom of page it will say “modlog”.
Theres also “instances” which is fun to look at and see which servers are federated and defederated from a given server
dang
I’ll miss the programmer memes but that’s the smallest price to pay for community safety
Thanks, admins!
(thadmins)
Well done.
Please continue the good work you’re doing to keep the community safe from these trolls until the admins on that server can find a way to keep them out.
Let us hope the solution is easy to implement on their end so they don’t suffer unnecessary sleepless nights over it.
May we soon see them refederated. :)
