Which / what Motorola?

It was split in 3.
Google got phones and phone IP and (licenced?) the Motorola phones are Chinese.
Nokia got the comms infrastructure.
Semiconductors further split (maybe earlier).

There is no actual Motorola (see also RCA which is now a brand owned by Thomson).
