I have #glasses. 👓 🤓 My current pair are nice frames, but the lenses themselves are battered & scratched to hell (I'm very clumsy 🤦‍♀️ ).

Is there any good/cheap way to just get the lenses replaced? 🤔 I could ask the local optician where I brought them, but I wonder if, in our modern internet age, there's some “post you glasses here, and we'll fit new frames” service? 🤔

@amapanda Optician, I'm afraid? Since I generally hate what the current trends in frames are, I tend to reuse the frames I have, or look through vintage frames for something nice. Then I let my optician work, and they generally take a fee of ~30€ on top of the lenses. And the lenses... well, you get what you pay for.

@thatfrisiangirlish yeah I figured the opitican would do it. i'm just afraid of a stupid €100 fee on top or something.
