things are rather very not good in a lot of places right now. but there's also magic to be found, and peace, and the change of seasons and stars and fresh air through an open window.

This evening a flock of rooks flew up from their roost and circled around the house before landing again, then repeating their flight. There were over 40 of them. It was amazing

@innowen @moonrabbit I was out again last night, hoping to see it again. Sadly not, there were fewer around. Maybe this evening. Even more interesting, I looked as though it was a mixed flock of rooks and jackdaws and both nest here and seem to get on
