@EUCommission that makes sense, but... why they don't just join the Union?
@uriel they are neutral country so they cant
@musluman not a reason, is not the only neutral country in the EU.
@uriel the neutrality of swiss is waaay diffirent than other like austria or ireland

@musluman

neutrality is neutrality. Swiss like to feel like they are the special baby, that's it.

@uriel well neutrality works not gonna lie
@musluman LOL. Look at a geographical map, and look for the country. Who should invade them, precisely?
@uriel well their neighbors are peacefull but its a old thing also nobody knows that maybe one day EU might really invade them if they choose side

@musluman

uhm.... you don't know the history of Europe, right?

@uriel nope not at all
@uriel @EUCommission it's beneficial for them not to in some ways but ultimately it is up to the people, maybe they will some day.

@uriel @EUCommission

Because they think that "neutrality" is a thing, or more to the point, because they are convinced that money is king.

Switzerland already receives and apply almost all the EU laws as it makes sense for the country. But you know, not needing to put money in the EU is what they care the most.

"Switzerland first", I guess.
