Another week of gold making - this is week 9, where I made almost 3 million gold, and I also go over the recap that Tradeskillmaster now provides.

@reyneese No, I flip items. Buy on one server for cheap, sell on another server for more. I have auction house characters on 20 servers, and each morning I post 1 bag of 'stuff' that I've collected / flipped.
I do professions just for myself, pet battles to level alts (though I do also sell the pets I level).
Start learning by figuring out what appeals to you about gold making, farming, flipping, crafting, etc. and then grow from there. Any profession can make gold. Consistency is key.
@stargrace this is a new perspective I haven't thought about. (no wonder i'm this poor in the game) . does that require TradeSkillsMaster subscription for the price comparison and monitoring?
I might have picked the poor profession (Engineering) , aka sometimes the more painful, grindy one.
I think time to re-think, and re-think . thanks for encouraging words :)
@stargrace I was under the impression, always have to go with conventional pairing. etc. ... and I 'forcefully' making at least 4 or more of my character purely Herbs+Mining gatherer , despite I really lazy and unwilling to gather. (was hoping thru while leveling, grab some materials on the go)
Now reading this triggers me to rethink my WoW professions/money-making logic. I guess I should sit down and have a quiet moment, to figure out how I should approach the game :D
@reyneese Pairing is pretty outdated these days, except leaving gathering together (you are already out gathering, so mining/herb is good to pair) and also tailoring / enchanting is a pair. I have:
alchemy/blacksmith
Engineering/Inscription
Tailoring/Enchanting
leatherworking/jewelcrafting
together, but any combination works. What matters more is being consistent. :)
@reyneese TSM has a gold making discord, but I've been doing it for 9 years now so I am a moderator there :)
It is a good place to just read and learn, check out the pins, etc.
