3 US troops killed and 5 are seriously wounded in Iran operation

Three U.S. service members have been killed and five others seriously wounded during the attacks on Iran. They're the first American casualties in the offensive that's sparked retaliation from the Islamic Republic. That's according to a person familiar with the situation who spoke on condition of anonymity. U.S. Central Command announced the deaths Sunday on social media. It said “several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions” and were going to return to duty.
