Finally got my brother's plate all cut and assembled and glued and on the rack for firing.

And I swear, if it gets fucked up in transfer to the kiln, I will cry. Or scream. Maybe both, LOL.

And I just looked at the picture I took of it and realized I fucked up the accent bits on the corners, LMAO.

Here it is, ready for the first firing!

I also got back the plaid plate after slumping, and the white/mixed color puddle, and the bottle melts, but I didn't get pics in the classroom and there's no good lighting right now, will post tomorrow.

It's got a fuckton of glue on it, and a piece of stiff pressboard under it, so hopefully it won't shift all over the place when it is transferred to the kiln.

I have also set a goal for myself that by the time the next set of classes starts - mid-April - and that is to have the chaotic disaster of the upstairs back bedroom cleared and set up as a place where I can have all my glass nicely organized with the big pieces in racks so I can see it all at once.

The reward for this will be the fact that it will simply be very nice to have it all that way, and the other reward will be giving myself permission to seriously consider getting a cutters mate.
