found a new (old) medical drama to obsess over! Transplant (2019) from Canada. the lead character is a Syrian refugee who worked as a trauma surgeon before escaping the Assad regime. the supporting characters (doctors) aren't all nearly as compelling yet... and I'd like to see more surgery/procedures. but so far I'm really enjoying it. and there seems to be enough episodes to get me through til the Pitt is binge-ready.

Ugh now someone is using a lamp cord as a tourniquet ... Wouldn't a hospital have tourniquets fairly accessible, or is that just like EMTs?? #MedicalDrama
