HollieThis kind of awe-inspiring tale of humanity told over vast swaths of time is something I normally love, but this one bugged me. The relationships between the modern-day humans lacked chemistry. The Neanderthal relationships were more interesting but we didn't get to spend much time with them.
The only relationship that felt really poignant (and got the most screen time) was between the human and the AI, and when a movie about human evolution and the power of community and relationships showcases the bond between a human an altruistic humanity-saving AI, it feels like...well.....propaganda, actually.
