Edit: got some seeds started.
Of course being the extremely extra person that I am, I've sorted out a way to set up an automatic mister for this. I just need one small part from the hardware store.
Well shoot, the system I've got set up isn't working. The little irrigation nozzles I got require too much pressure to operate. I need to find some low pressure misters/foggers that worth with a 1/4" hose irrigation system.
sonja@Karstan you could put the water source higher than the misting system...wouldnt that increase the pressure?
@emily_rugburn There are logistical problems with that.
But also the nozzles also have the wrong spray pattern. Instead of a fine spray, it's 12 individual tiny streams.
@Karstan all i can think of otherwise is getting a raspberry pi motor or something. i was looking them up last year when i was going to create a watering system for my garden
@emily_rugburn I've got a 714 gph pump on it! It's honestly pretty oversized for this project. I just need nozzles intended for this kind of system. There's a hydroponics store a few miles away from me that I'm thinking of stopping by during my lunch break.
