@foirgair Honestly just posing the bones differently'd fix it I bet! Mayybe tweaking the range of motion limits in the bones, if you even use those.

(oh in case you thought I was talking about the paw itself, I meant the joint farther back, which you have bending like an elbow. It's his wrist actually! :3 Elbow is farther up the leg I believe. It works like the "backwards knees" that are really ankles.)
