The goal of the Miyawaki method is to create mature forest ecosystems within decades, rather than the century or more that such a transformation would take without human intervention.

They also are terrific use for biochar since it can be buried deep enough that we'll know the carbon will stay sequestered for millennia too!

It is a miraculous process. Imagine what could happen if neighborhoods over the United States (world) kind of like a victory gardens that were planted during World War II engaging these projects that they took some open space whether on public or private property and did this.

A mandarin what would happen if we rebuilt and re-organized our communities so we didn’t need to drive in cars to do all the basic activities of life.

We could take all that street space all that parking space and put it to other use and if it’s in the open, we could put green stuff, whether it’s little refugees of pure wildlife or even little mini agroforestry plots, or permaculture plots.

Our cities would be quieter cleaner, healthier less expensive for the city for us and more economically vibrant for local business, while building ecological resilience, and decoupling ourselves from the planet killing global economy
