I’m following cat-hashtags here and enjoying the cat pics. But sometimes I miss having a cat so much it hurts my heart. I grew up with a cat. We even had kittens one year, a core childhood memory. When I was around 12-13 years I obsessively drew cats. I’m dreaming of painting more cat paintings again, having a whole cat painting exhibition. But I cannot have a cat at home right now mostly because I can’t afford a pet, but also my oldest child is allergic. He loves cats too despite that.
