New thread idea:

#PlayEveryLetter

I’m going to go through the alphabet and pick one album for each letter, choosing artists or bands whose names start with that letter. I’ll focus on albums I haven’t listened to in a while. Feels like a fun way to revisit stuff I haven’t listened to in ages.

Kicking off #PlayEveryLetter with:

A Drop of Light
by All Traps On Earth
2018

All Traps On Earth is a Swedish progressive rock project formed in Stockholm in 2013 by Änglagård bassist Johan Brand, together with other members of that band.

Next up in my #PlayEveryLetter thread:

De Fluff
by Bootcut
2006

Bootcut is a Swedish side project by Beardfish’s Rikard Sjöblom and their early drummer Petter Diamant, featuring a stripped-down lineup built around Hammond organ and drums. Fun and catchy instrumentals.

Last one today for #PlayEveryLetter:

12 Ways to Win People to Your Way of Thinking
by Wes Cunningham
1998

This American singer-songwriter had a small hit with the song Not Enough, a catchy rock tune I loved a lot. The album has a lot more of this stuff.

Time for #PlayEveryLetter. We’re at the letter D.

Dysnomia
by Dawn Of Midi
2015

Dawn Of Midi is an instrumental trio from Brooklyn. This album features hypnotic, trance-inducing polyrhythms, played on upright piano, bass and drums. If you like Nik Bärtsch’s music, this is for you.

My pick for the letter E for #PlayEveryLetter:

Build a Rocket Boys!
by Elbow
2011

Half of the albums I have for E are by Brian Eno, so I had to pick something else this time. Haven't heard this one by Elbow in a long while, so picked this one.

Last one today for #PlayEveryLetter with the letter F:

Reistu þig við, sólin er komin á loft...
by For a Minor Reflection
2007

Picked up this album after their show in 2008 where they were support act for Sigur Rós. I thought they were pretty impressive during that show.

Arrived at the letter G today for #PlayEveryLetter:

Supernature
by Goldfrapp
2005

Playing the multi-channel SuperAudio CD today. This is an album I haven't played much, so it's an excellent candidate for this revisiting challenge.

My pick for the letter H: #PlayEveryLetter

Breathe
by Faith Hill
1999

Splendid production, great singer. Has some very nice pop rock tunes too. Recommended, if you can stand the country sound.
