News From The Nest
Storks have been eagerly awaited and welcomed back to their nests by many generations of villagers, townsfolk and citizens in mainland Europe, and given names by their human neighbours. Here, in Sussex, the Knepp webcam storks have been given names too. Originally from Poland, Pa Stork is Bartek and Ma Stork is Ania. And, this week, Pa Stork’s new love, who was born at the Cotswold Wildlife Park, has been named Greta. She and Pa Stork have been busy refurbishing the nest.
