We wrapped an incredible launch event and the #TootWales Android app is officially live!
Reading this means you already have your home on the Social Web, but we built this for your friends and family who’ve stayed away because it felt too technical.
The new app is a welcoming front door for anyone who wants an easy option to poke their head in and see what's what.

We've built a Social Web app. It runs on Mastodon, but it’s designed to talk to the entire open web - Bluesky, Pixlfed, PeerTube, WordPress, and beyond.
We’re connecting Wales to the world, from Cardiff to Calgary to Calcutta. It’s a local identity with global reach.
And with our friends at @newsmast we hope to see many more apps like this in the near future, more front doors for more communities.
