👾Maybe it would be useful, instead of big-tech AI / LLM bashing, if those valid concerns could be at least partly focussed by FOSS making training of home-run models to bring edge/offline AI/LLM to homelab, to allow us to learn about the tools and use them how we see fit without being over-reliant on big tech and internet connectivity. Pēteris Krišjānis@adingbatponder @homelab I would argue it is more about figuring out what is effective. People really don't know. Linux environment has seen lots of attempts to "fix it", but nothing beats samples, instructions, well named flags and commands and auto complete that is reliable.
So people need to learn how to use it effectively. No tool can make people to decide to make dedication.
