Busy day at the new hangar.

Bought an air compressor and accoutrements. Used the inevitable Bunnings trailer to move the racking shelves of tools and consumables from the old hangar to the new.

Unpacked and assembled two Ikea armchairs and a coffee table. Cheap, and $partner won’t want to come if there isn’t basic human comfort. Good place to sit waiting for weather etc too.

Restackd the shelving unit. Powered-up the workbench, so the espresso machine and Ryobi battery charger are lit up.

Pile of flattened cardboard. Some of it will be packed away neatly to see a second life as a drip catcher under the plane’s engine during maintenance.

I’ll move the plane itself one night this week when it’s not raining.

Need to source a small refrigerator. Probably a 12V car fridge with a solar panel, just enough to cool a couple of bricks of coke or whatever.

Should be a pleasant place to be, anyway. $parter and I had a great time cleaning it out and setting it up today. More next weekend..

@NewtonMark The IKEA 'caravan' special buys usually has a solar panel, controller, battery box and battery on a 12V system. I used that to take my radios off-grid.
@glent @NewtonMark also check out the bigger online camping sites. There are some really nice mobile power solutions.
@NewtonMark your timing is impeccable Mark
@NewtonMark Good place to... hang out
@NewtonMark I don't have a plane to put in it, but that sounds awesome and I want one.
