Update on my wand situation for the curious. I actually ordered these a while ago (before the death of my favorite wand) and they were due to arrive next week. But they arrived early, which was a nice surprise. Here's hoping that the Magic Wand is actually as durable as it's reputed to be. I'll make a post with my tasting notes once that eventually happens.

There are times when the wire on my Doxy wand is annoying but it’s never let me down so it’s an annoyance I can live with.
As for the cute blue one - that’s crying out for googly boobly eyes 👀

The doxy was initially higher up on my list, but what stopped me was not so much the wire as the reports of high failure rates. I'm glad yours has never let you down! I know another friend who also has one, and swears by it as well.
The cute blue one is so tiny and smol 😭 The tiny doxy and tiny Hitachi also provoked an involuntary squeal because they're just so adorable.
You can reasonably expect googly shoots in the near to medium future
