oceans of time stretch behind us, unfathomably deep, full of people and stories we'll never know
the oldest known built wooden structure is almost half a MILLION years old, and the fact that we have any trace of it at all is incredible because wood generally doesn't last or leave much of a trace
who knows what else was out there, lost to time
