@timnitGebru I kinda dislike that title-line.

If the robots were in fact digital sentience, sapient, people. Then they should have personal rights (human rights are an awfully anthropocentric misnomer and I expected better from the Star Trek generation).

That being said, LLM bots are not sapient and have less of an internal experience than the average insect. The very way by which they work precludes reaching even that much.
