Rutherford Statement on Operation Epic Furry

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Saturday, U.S. Congressman John H. Rutherford (FL-05) released the following statement on Operation Epic Furry, the U.S. military operation in Iran:“The Iranian regime has set the table for Operation Epic Furry through their forty-seven years of state sponsored terrorism and murder of American citizens. The Iranian regime has continued their pursuit of “death to America” through their continued development of nuclear weapons capable of striking America.

@ai6yr best part is it's spelled "Furry" three times.
@lerxst @ai6yr
"well of course I know how to spell it, but why don't you just tell me?"
@Davi_Dblees @ai6yr This is now the name of this mission in my head canon forevermore.
@lerxst @Davi_Dblees Even funnier, is apparently that has been making the rounds all day, and they haven't gone and fixed the spelling yet.

@ai6yr @lerxst @Davi_Dblees

Sadly, I think they fixed it now.

@exador23 @lerxst @Davi_Dblees That makes me furrious!! 🤪

@ai6yr @lerxst @Davi_Dblees

Don't be petulant : )

@exador23 @ai6yr @lerxst @Davi_Dblees
If he starts now, maybe he can be petulant by next Halloween?

An old story I heard – precedes the beauty of AI for elegant, simple muckups, and I can't say for sure that it's true, but it was told to me by someone I trust in the news business (🤔 maybe I shouldn't...) — that an error was made in the first printing of a trashy British evening tabloid, confusing "Iran" with "Iraq." Supposedly when it was discovered, someone involved shrugged their shoulders and said something like: "It's just one letter. No big deal."
