Information Warfare Alert: A lot of folks identifying as militant leftists are up on Mastodon today saying this new war somehow proves that they were right in not voting for Kamala Harris since 'they are all the same.'

This is absurd.

This tactic was used very effectively to sow division and suppress Democratic votes in 2024.

These people are either misguided, and doing grave disservice to those they profess to support, or they are deliberate disinformation operators.

@mastodonmigration

She literally said it herself.

"Make no mistake, as president, I will never hesitate to take whatever action is necessary to defend American forces and interests from Iran and Iran-backed terrorists, and I will never allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon, [...] Diplomacy is my preferred path to that end, but all options are on the table."

US foreign policy is pretty much bi-partisan, Dems do it with a moral progressive spin, Republicans just say "might makes right". Proof of this is Obama's track record (double tap King), Biden's, etc. not being any different than a Republican president.

I trust Americans will always find a way to justify their favourite party's interventionism and imperialism, because, in the end, they're mostly Treatlerites.

@budududuroiu @mastodonmigration

Thank you for your "BoTh SiDeS tHe SaMe" lying ignorance

Congratulations on telling the world you're not serious

@benroyce @mastodonmigration show me a statement from Kamala on Iran that is different from Trump's and I will eat my words.

@budududuroiu @mastodonmigration

"Do my thinking and my honesty for me"

BWAHAHAHA

@benroyce @budududuroiu @mastodonmigration

I mean, if you don't know why you think on this issue the two people are different, how do you trust in your own beliefs?

From the outside looking in, it often seems like Americans just don't like the imperialism their country wreaks across the globe when the person with the wrong color on their party flag does it. Otherwise it's fine.

@komali_2 @budududuroiu @mastodonmigration

thank you for your projection of the weird demons in your head onto people who don't remotely think anything like you think they do

do ever try to be serious in your life?
