This race is my district. Foushee is an establishment Democrat with close ties to AIPAC and Israel. She stopped taking AIPAC money (directly) last year, but apparently the dark money groups are still funneling funds to her. I have noticed a glut of pro-Foushee ads running recently.
The challenger, Nida Allam, is a Bernie Sanders-endorsed anti-corporate progressive.

Follow up on the Congressional primary race in my district (NC-4)….
So apparently much of the spending on Fouchee is coming from AI companies (Anthropic specifically) because she’s a pro-business Democrat, as in ‘ok with data centers.’
Her primary challenger is Nida Allam. A progressive who doesn’t take corporate money and is endorsed by Bernie Sanders. She’s decidedly anti-data center.
