Not sure if he said that but Yakovleff is a real EU/FR/NATO hardliner known for his direct opinion and tactical vision. Met him once in Calvi on Corisca (in a pub) where I was training airboirne to use small missile systems. I think he was there for parachute training, tought (wrongly) he was a Russian born FFL.
