Here we go again.
‘The Albanese government has offered support to the US president, Donald Trump, and Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.’ (Source: The Guardian - Live)

What is the bloody difference between Putin’s aggression in Ukraine, Israel’s genocide in Gaza and agression in the West Bank, and Trump’s war on Iran? What? What is the difference on the ground? What is the difference in International Law? What? Where is the moral ground? What putative reason exist to warrant any of this?

And Australia, in bipartisan show of support for this illegal action, falls in line once again with the US Hegemony. I’m not proud of our govt or our opposition right now.

@RaymondPierreL3 from what I have seen others pretty much say online "Ukraine good, Iran bad". According to them, because Iran is corrupt and bad to its people, it is ok that the US and Israel is doing this, and you are bad for trying to compare this attack with others.

@CurbsideShip116
Yes, ‘never let bad politics get in the way of a false comparison’ seem to be the MO everywhere these days (or is it the other way around this time?).

Nothing can exonerate aggression because there is no moral ground for it to stand on save, perhaps, self preservation. And when has that ever been the case for an aggressor?

This world is turning to shit.
