@stephenrobles I’m sure I’m telling you junk you already know, but, just in case

If you:

1) start YT on the Apple TV
2) start a video on the iOS app
3) use the cast button on YT on your phone
4) you should be able to cast it to the TV, in a more hand-offy way, not an air-droppy way

Not exactly what you’re asking for, but pretty close.

@caseyliss @stephenrobles I just hit play on my phone then stop. Then go to the TV YT app and look in Library for recently watched and click play from there.

@caseyliss yeah that’s an ok thing. Would be nice if I could hit airdrop on my iPhone and it turns on the TV and goes right to it

@stephenrobles @caseyliss I think this is a YouTube issue, not an AirPlay issue. I think YouTube would have to build that into the app whereas they prefer to use their own Cast protocol.
