I think maybe instead of "america america america" we can refocus on:
"What does my local Iranian community need from me right now?"
but of course then, the question arises
"Why didn't I think of my local Iranian community in the past month?"
It's a good time to post this video again about Iranian protest flags
Being against the war is a good and legitimate position (and many Iranians are uneasy about American intervention too) but for fuck's sake have some basic respect and understanding and don't fly the regime flag

Yeah I saw some folks waving Iranian flags (and one American flag) on my bus ride home today. Not really sure what their deal was, I didn't get off the bus to ask, but it was a bit surprising seeing it here in Saskatoon.
I'm not sure which of these flags it was. It might've been the Lion and Sun flag now that I'm watching the video.
@quietbrooke Ya, tons of Iranian diaspora in Canada, all over! Iran is a big source of international students to Canada as well (especially graduate students), so Iranian diaspora are in basically every city where there is a research university.
I think Iranians are really motivated to show up and demonstrate too because of the severity of what has been happening, in the major cities there's been people demonstrating basically every weekend
