Seriously considering buying a tape drive instead
2 x 12TB drivers ordered, that's 6x what I was using before, but I will be also be pulling in about 3TB extra remote backup for my Dad
As I was beginning to suspect these drives were too good to be true. A 2 pack of drives for about 20% more than an individual driver of that size was currently selling for.
Email from Amazon saying they hadn't shipped yet and are now marked unavailable, so cancelled, but this feels like an attempted scam by the 3rd party vendor.
So 2 more drives ordered at a more realistic price (ouch) and delivery tomorrow.
