@lutzky Yeah, same. At some point I just started to search for rust rewrites on Github. Now every other tool I use runs 10x faster.
@sef it's not even that rust is that fast! It's not inherently any faster than C++ (Python is slower though). But *rewritten* code is often faster (because it knows what it wants to achieve), and Rust seems to just be fun to reimplement things in.
