The Eternal Life of Goldman is the only one I’ve played so far and I uninstalled it cause I knew it was a buy for me.
Beautiful hand-drawn art with a bit of Cuphead animation style but not rubber hose. Gameplay like Donkey Kong Country with metroidvania elements.
The Magus Circle seems like a fantastic concept.
Also I wonder how long it takes for someone to come up with a mod for it that forces/lets your practice kanji lol

A few I thought were fairly neat for various reasons.
There’s a few Fox-likes (Well, on rails shooter but I like Fox-like more) out there, Wild Blue is just one of the two that feels truest to form

store.steampowered.com/…/FUR_Squadron_Phoenix/ Adds more customizability
…steampowered.com/…/Whisker_Squadron_Survivor/ Roguelike, with a campaign.
store.steampowered.com/app/…/Death_In_Abyss/ ever wish Star Fox also had horror elements
I am hugely excited for Titanium Court.
The music and gameplay loop was great.
2nd is Forbidden Solitaire
3rd is Everything is Crab
I could not get into Darwin’s Paradox or Reanimal which were heavily marketed.
I played a shocking amount of demos this nextfest and had a pretty great time.
I forgot that I had it running and was just jamming. Then I also forgot it was a demo and the game literally has a timid character come up to you and tell you that you overstayed your welcome but they won’t tell you to leave… Then the UI says it doesnt have the same concerns and boots you from the game.
Just a whole lot of fun!
