Why does the BBC say this company has an "alleged link to Israel"

Rafael Advanced Defense Systems is a state-owned Israeli company and one of its primary arms suppliers.
50% of its revenue comes from the Israeli Ministry of Defense. It develops and manufactures many of Israel's most critical weapon systems, including:

Newcastle Gaza factory protester says attack was 'lawful'

Georgia Coote tells jurors she wanted to disrupt work to prevent "war crimes" in Gaza.

BBC News
@Geri Please tell me this woman realizes that the people who clean up vandalism aren't the same people actually making the weapons. That's not how you stop defense contractors. You have to sue them....

@praetor sir, direct action such as this has closed down two factories in the UK in 2025. Meaning the lives of many Palestine people were spared

Xx

#PalestineAction

@Geri Wow. That is very impressive. So the temporary pause of the factories closing stopped time. Like someone threw red paint on one and Netanyahu said "hold up, everyone stop what they're doing. We're taking a genocide break. Someone threw paint on a weapons factory in the UK". That's not direct action. That's vandalism. Direct action would be throwing lawsuits at them, and tying them up in court for eternity. But you do you...

@praetor no, it goes beyond just throwing red paint. It is repetitive action, breaking into factories destroying equipment ect, again and again such that the means of production is interfered with.

This has meant a contract of Elbit with the British government was stopped

Kindly investigate the hashtag #PalestineAction

I know you are American so you may not be aware but we don't fuck around in the UK

Here a factory is getting broken into and smashed again

@Geri @praetor Hey what if Palestinian people just didn't start wars?

How many Palestinian lives would *that* save?

@TagYourToe @Geri bro...this has been going on for so long....hundreds of years....nobody knows who actually started it. And it really doesn't matter. They BOTH need to stop this shit. But vandalism in a foreign country isn't going to stop it. Neither is Trump.

@praetor @Geri "nobody knows who actually started it."

Balderdash.

@TagYourToe @Geri riiiight. The man who hates both Jews and Muslims started a conflict between Jews and Muslims. Makes perfect sense. Enough screen time for you. I think it's time for you to go overdose on NyQuil like the nut job you are.
@praetor @Geri So you don't know the gentleman on the left and what this occasion was and you just kind of vibe your way through history discourse? That's novel.
@TagYourToe @Geri I know the history, and that ain't it. I'm not going to entertain Hitler conspiracy theories. So be gone.
@praetor @Geri Is the conspiracy theory in the room with you right now?
@TagYourToe @Geri wow, bro. You are so original. Did you find that on 4chan? I'm just going to fucking block you. I don't have the time or inclination for this sort of stupidity.

@praetor @TagYourToe this is off the point.

We are discussing the direct action of the group #PalestineAction

I am suggesting that the group had stopped many Palestinian lives from being killed. The argument put against that is litigation is a more effective way. To the litigation, though, I would say the companies are doing nothing illegal and only by actually breaking the law with criminal damage can these things be prevented

Xx

@Geri @praetor "this is off the point."

It's the core of what you'd have people believe you care about.

@TagYourToe @praetor I appreciate that. But, we would lose sight of getting the answer to the contention raised via a viz direct action's validity.
@praetor @TagYourToe @Geri I don't care who started it, but I do care about which one is killing the civilians and journalists right now, and that's not the Arabs.
