I mean, I feel like “better than the alternatives” needs to be added, as it’s not implied by your original comment. It very easily can be read as just “Fediverse bad”, as something being a good idea does not imply that it is, itself, in any way good or better than the opposition.

The Fediverse both sucks (aka imperfect) currently and at the same time is the only hope for the future. Reddit, Xhitter, and Facebook will and even can never get any better. The Fediverse is our only hope.
