it's been long enough to where I'm comfortable saying this but one of my students dropped "perchance" in the middle of a conversation I was having with them and it was so incredibly difficult to not laugh
@thalia this is the same kid who took a picture of an intentionally overly-corny pickup line written on a whiteboard in the same lab, and when I asked him why he did that he said "I might need to use it someday". That time I really couldn't hold back my laughter and immediately felt bad
